Music to our Ears

     Music is a great special.  Our music teacher is Mrs. Minnix.  We learn different music notes and play fun games!  We learn about high and low music notes.  You also get to play alot of different instruments.  Mrs. Minnix is a new music teacher and we get to pick our spots on the rug.  This is the special for you!

Super Healthy Special

Hi, I'm Mimi Wright and here is Riley's first paragraph of the year.

     Gym is a super healthy special for you!  When we go to gym, we exercize alot.  Our gym teacher is Mr. Scholder.  He helps us get strong.  Sometimes we do obstacles that are very fun to do.  You better, come to gym!

Shhhhh! Our special is library today!

Hi, I'm Ike N. Wright and here is Caden's first paragraph of the year.

     Library is a great special.  It is the only special where you get to borrow books from Mrs. Hagar.  She is our library teacher.  She reads to the class.  When we find a book that we want to check out, we bring it to the library teacher.  She scans it and we get to keep it for one week.  Library is the special for you!

Teaching is an Art

Hi I'm Abby C. Connors and here is Shelby's first paragraph this year. 

     Do you know who Mrs. Daniels is?  She is an art teacher.  We do lots of projects together.  Sometimes we draw on our own.  She's real, real nice.  She has long, curly hair and always dresses nice.  Art is our day two special.  I am glad because art is my favorite special.  Mrs. Daniels is a new art teacher.  Our other art teacher was Mrs. Stackhouse.  I loved her, but I like Mrs. Daniels too.  I love art and I think you should like art too.

Computers are special. And they are one of our specials...in 2nd grade.

Hi I'm Abby C. Connors and here's another brand new paragraph.

       In Computers, we play lots of different games.  Mrs. Akeret lets us use the headphones.  We even got to print out some things last year.  She sometimes lets us earn free periods when we are good.  I hope this year she will let us do new and different things.  So far, we are doing well in Computers this year.

Week of Respect

Hi I'm Abby C. Connors and here is my first paragraph.

     Respect is important in our school.  We should be nice to our teacher.  Don't interrupt the teacher or principal.  You should not ever hit your classmates or punch them!  It is very bad!  Never disrespect your school.  It will hurt your school's feelings.  Respecting your body too is important.  I hope you always show respect in your school too!
