Welcome

Right on Target!

Hi I'm Mark McWhere and here's where its at!

Target has a ton of stuff that you want to buy.  Target has a spot where you can get popcorn, juice, slurpies, hotdogs and burgers while you shop.  They also have toys, bikes, and clothes.  There are so many videos, videogames, tv's, and pokemon cards. They sell cleaning supplies for all the messes you may make.  Target is an awesome store to go to.

All About the Benjamin

Hi I'm Harry Whodini and here's another V.I.P.

Ben Franklin was a great person in our country's history.  He invented the Franklin stove and bifocal glasses.  He also signed the Declaration of Independence and discovered electricity.  Ben Franklin is a special person to all of us.

Snow, Snow, Go Away! Come Again Another Day.

Hi I'm Jackie Frost and here's the local weather.

The snow in Absecon was big!  The snowflakes came falling down  so fast!  The traffic was very slow. They put salt on the road but that did not work. Then the car accidents came. It was so cold! It was only 20 degrees! I do not want this storm to come back.

Book vs. Movie

Hi I'm Patrick Persuasy and here's what I'm thinking.

I think Click, Clack, Moo the movie was better than the book.  The movie had a lot of extra parts  and you can actually see and hear Farmer Brown's voice.  In the book, there are pages, but in the movie the characters are moving.  Its animated!  I think the movie is way better than the book.

Snow Rocks!

Hi I'm Jackie Frost and here's the local forecast.

I have been learning so many new things about snow.  Snow can be pink when the dirt is red.  Once there were jumbo snowflakes that were 15 inches wide in Stampede Pass.  The snow once fell 430 inches in Washington.  I learned a lot about snow.  I love snow!

Alvin Ailey's Amazing School

Hi, I'm Mark McWhere and here is where it's at.

The Alvin Ailey Dance School is a really amazing place. It is in New York City.  At the Alvin Ailey Dance school, you can learn a super cool dance called the Capoeira. The Capoeira is a dance from Brazil. You can do ballet or jazz. Both of those kinds of dances are very fun to watch, do, and learn. You should go to The Alvin Ailey Dance School.

Jump Rope for Heart

Hi I'm Abby C. Connors and here's the local news.

Everybody had a blast at the Jump Rope for Heart event.  We had twelve jump stations. The jumpers were all second graders.  Jump roping was my favorite station because I love to jump rope.  I can go all the way to 70 without even stopping. I hope you had a great time at the Jump Rope for Heart event.

Guide Dogs

Hi, I'm Young McDonald Junior and here's another report on the animals.
There are many awesome things about guide dogs. Guide dogs are used around the world for people that are blind. There are many different kinds of guide dogs. They are Labrador retrievers, German sheperds, and golden retrievers. When the dogs are puppies, they live with a good family. Then, when the dog is old enough, they go a special place to train for being a guide dog. Next time you see a blind person, don't laugh. Think what they go through and how important the guide dog is.
