If Wishes Came True

Hi, I'm the Absecon Genie and here's what happened with my friend Nick.

     This week I went to Nick's house.  The first thing we did was play Mario 3D Land on the Wii.  Next we went to Toys R Us and got 25 lego sets.  We built them together!  Last we went to Disney World and we went on all the rides.  We stayed nine days.  That was an awesome time!

Saturdays are for Families!

Dear Mr. Giardina,
      You are going too far. If we have school on Saturday I will miss my clean up day and I will not be able to work on my chore.  As I was saying, I will not be able to spend time with my mom and dad because sometimes my mom is off on Saturdays.  If you change the school week to Saturday, my mom and dad will be sad because they will miss me.  We should not have school on Saturday.

This Restaurant is Golden!

     Everyone should eat at Golden Nugget.  Golden Nugget has amazing seafood and steak.  When we got our dinner we ate it all!  Yum!  It was delicious.  Then we ate dessert.  I ate ice cream.  It was cold but it was good.  Then I went home with my family.  I hope I go to Golden Nugget again!

Two's Company, but Three's a Crowd

Hi I'm Patrick Persuasy and here's what Delaney E. thinks.

     I would rather want to have Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer as a friend than Frosty the Snowman.  Rudolph wouldn't melt but Frosty would not.  Also, Rudolph could take me to places far away.  Frosty would not be able to fly, but Rudolph could.  When I am in the dark, Rudolph could light the way, but Frosty couldn't do that.  That's why Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer would be a better friend than Frosty the Snowman.

     We should eat pancakes instead of turkey this Thanksgiving.  Pancakes are so, so yummy.  It is so easy to make a pancake! I love to make them homemade.  You can put way more things on pancakes than you can on a turkey.  So you should eat pancakes on Thanksgiving.

Second Grader Nominates Local Educator for Best Art Teacher Ever!

     Mrs. Stackhouse is the art teacher at the Marsh School.  She thinks of great projects for me and my class.  We use alot of art tools.  We made a project where you write the first letter of your name.  But not with a pencil.  Not even with a marker.  It was with pieces of yarn!  It was great!  Mrs. Stackhouse is the best art teacher ever.
