Right on Target

Hi I'm Kyle C. and here's another personal narrative.

     I like to go to Target because in the beginning of the store they have a food bar.  It has slushies, popcorn, and bags of chips.  They have a food aisle with all the food you can think of.  There is a toy aisle too!  It has stuffed animals, legoes, and babies.  Target is the best store ever!

Respect Walk

     My respect walk partner was Bryan.  He was 11 years old.  He was much taller than me.  Bryan and me and Ethan walked around.  We read the respect papers and then we went in.  Mr. Cavileer said Wow, you guys were awesome.  I hope I get to go to the respect walk again.

Project Oreo

The class had an Oreo project.  I was shaking when we stacked them.  The Oreo project was fun.  Camille and Hannah were good at stacking.  I was too.  I wish the class can do it another time.

Hi I'm Abby C. Connors and here's the local news.

     Yesterday it was a Respect Walk day.  Some six graders came in.  I got picked.  I asked her how is six grade.  She told me all about it.  Then it was time to go.  Mr. Cavileer was taking pictures.  Then we walked and made a big R.  They took pictures from the roof.  Then we started walking and I saw my sister.  After, it was time to go.  I hope to do it again.

Hi I'm Mimi Wright and here's another personal narrative.

I was surprised when I got the iPhone 3.  My iPhone was the best thing that I have ever gotten.  The iPhone didn't come in color.  It was white and it had a black and gray case on it.  It had two games, a camera, and settings.  I was very surprised when i got an iPhone.

My 1st grade trip was the best ever.  We picked 1 pumpkin and 3 apples.  It started to rain.  Drip, drop.  It started to rain harder.  Plip, plop. Plip, ploop, plip.  Good thing I brought my raincoat.  Our class ran to the school bus and the driver drove away.  It was still the best field trip ever!

Do You Believe in Magic?

     This morning we had the Joe Holiday assembly.  First he started reading a book about dragons and fire.  Next the book was on fire!  Then he was talking about Harry Potter.  Last he put on music in the teacher's room and he said there was a party in there!  It really was a fun assembly.

Sprouts Summary

Hi I'm Mary Christmas and here's what Sprouts is all about.

     Jing was at her new school.  Her class wanted to set up a project for the school fair. They were going to plant some vegetables but there wasn't enough time.  So Jing said they could grow sprouts quickly.  They grew the sprouts in only a few days and they sold them all at the fair.  They all celebrated with some Yum Mung cookies.

The Best Store Award

The Greatest Trip Ever

The Longest Car Ride

     When it was summer we went to a place called Myrtle Beach.  I had to wait a long time in the car.  All I could do was eat and play rock, paper, scissors. What a long drive! Mia and Brianna were asleep.  It was late!  Finally we got there.  It felt like 20 hours.  I hope I don't wait that long again.

Waiting for Wonderland

     When I went to Dutch Wonderland and the car ride was 5 hours long, it felt like 12 hours.  I felt boared and sleepy.  Me and pop-pop played cards on the way.  It was fun, but tiring too.  But it was worth it!

Hershey Park!

I went to Hershey Park.  When I drove to Hershey Park, it was my first time.  I did not know I would have to wait that long.  I think it was about a three hour car ride.  It felt like I would never get there.  But I finally got there!  I was very excited to go on the rides.  All the lines were very long.  But it was totally worth the wait!

     When I ran into a truck I was at my friend's house.  We were playing house.  Her friend lives next door.  It was night time.   Her friend's dad has a pickup and the tailgate was down.  We ran next door.  Bam!  My head hit the corner of the tailgate.   My head was gushing blood.  I never want that to happen again.

Getting my Tonsils Out

 

Hi I'm Mimi Wright.  I want to read you another personal narrative.

When I got surgery I had to get my tonsils taken out.  I was very nervous in the car.  When we got there I got in the bed.  They put a mask on me to make me fall asleep.  When I woke up it hurt really bad.  I couldn't talk for two hours.  When we got home, I ate some ice cream.  I will never forget the time I got my tonsils taken out.

Emergency!

Hi my name is Ike N. Wright and I've got another personal narrative for you.

     One time I cracked my head open and it really hurt.  First I tripped over my dog and I cracked my head open.  Next blood was coming out of my head.  Also my mom put me in an ambulance.  I was in the hospital for a long time, but I didn't get stiches.  I tried not to look at it so I didn't get nightmares.  I hope it never happens again!

Ice Cream Sundaes (Trial)

 

Hi, I'm Derek Sean Howe and this is how we do it.

 Today I'll tell you how to make an ice cream sundae.

 

     Making an ice cream sundae is one of my favorite treats.  First, you take your favorite flavor out of the freezer and get three big scoops in a bowl.  Then you add toppings.  I put, on whip cream, chocolate sauce, and melted peanut butter.  Finally, I add a cherry and, enjoy.  Ice cream sundaes really are delicious!

The fish they had caught were smiling, they might get to return to the sea.  Suddenly Johnny woke up and realized it was all a dream.  He would still be having fish tonight.

Pedal Paddle Run (Trial)

 Hi I'm Abby C. Connors and I'm here to tell you about news and events from our great hometown. 

      The Pedal Paddle Run was an amazing race last weekend!   There were many racers who competed in the triathlon.  Sometimes there were three people on a team and other times there was an ironman who did everything themselves.  The race was a bike ride, a kayak, and a run.  The team that won was three teachers from our school!   I can't wait to see the race again next year.
